I collaborated with Big Alice Brewing on a beer. A Golden Ale, to be exact. We aged it in oak, with white wine grapes, and named it after my new record, Thousand Dollar Dinners. Then we threw a party in September to release the beer and called it The Thousand Dollar Dinner. We had such a great time that we’ve decided to make the dinner* a somewhat monthly happening at the Barrel Room.
We’ve also decided to work with City Harvest to help feed New York’s hungry, and Big Alice will offering discounted pours for anyone who brings a food or cash donation.
